The name's Burns, Jeremy Burns. I am the Choir Director here at North Laurel High School, I've been working here now for almost 5 years, and proudly, I graduated from this very school in 2004. Not only do I teach choir and music now, but I was also a part of North's chamber choir, as well as the band, while I was a student here. After graduating from North, I attended The University of the Cumberlands, which is also right here in Kentucky. I did major in Vocal/Instrumental Education, and WHILE attending college, I had the opportunity to perform in ensembles, such as the chamber choir, jazz band, and the marching band.
During my college career, I was blessed to have met my wife, Laura.

After completing my degree from the University of the Cumberlands, I returned to Laurel County, where I began substitute 
teaching. After one semester of substitute teaching, I was hired as the new choral director at NLHS. I have been very blessed to be able to return to North Laurel High, and I look forward to many years of working with the youth in our community.
